Born on September 12, 1984, in the city of Buea, Bejuka Mildred Alugu is a lawyer specializing in Intellectual Property and Arbitration procedures. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in laws in 2006, a postgraduate diploma in business law in 2007, and a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property in 2010 at the Yaoundé II University, Soa after having been called at the bar in the year 2009. In August 2010, she attended the Summer School in Intellectual Property Law at the United States Patent and Trade Mark Office (US PTO), Virginia (WIPO).
